This coffee is from Mulugeta Muntasha, one of 3 producers that Coffee Collective purchased from directly this year. They locked in a washed lot and this anaerobic natural. Due to the cost of production, the cup quality and the fair, direct trade price they have paid, this 200g bag is a little more expensive than most.

" Mulugeta’s journey has been one of persistence and excellence. In 2021, his natural-processed coffee from the 74112 variety scored 89.6 points and ranked 6th in the Cup of Excellence. This achievement helped promote the exceptional quality of his farm's coffee, and led to his success in the 2022 Cup of Excellence, where his lot won first place.
Mulugeta’s farm is located in Arbegona, Sidama, and sits at an impressive 2,300 meters above sea level, nestled between lush mountains."

True to form, Coffee Collective has kept this roast light and bright. The cup profile is elegant, the acidity is lively and the florals just keep on coming. It's full of tropical fruit notes and textural mango.
