Sweetshop is another seasonal espresso blend by our friends at Square Mile but this one is a little different.
Sure, you will see new components frequently switching in-and-out as they become available - changing the profile ever so slightly - but you can always trust this blend to be a celebration of big, syrupy, fruit-bomb coffees.
This edition of Sweetshop includes a fruit-forward coffee from Ethiopia and a chocolatey lot from Peru.
The Bookkisa makes up 50% of Sweetshop and is named after the washing station in the Guji Zone of Ethiopia where this lot is processed. It brings notes of raspberry jam and bright, red currants.
The other half of Sweetshop is a blend of coffee from members of the Aromas del Valle Association, a farmer cooperative based in Cajamarca, Peru. This lot is full of rich, chocolate and dried fruitiness.
Expect a textural espresso with jammy fruit and rich, dark chocolate in the finish.
