Red Brick
Regular price $26.00The Square Mile house blend full of rich, chocolatey notes and enough vibrant fruit to keep it balanced.
The Red Brick blend is a Square Mile staple - a real crowd pleaser.
We usually steer our customers towards this if they're looking for something a little more classic, maybe with lower acidity and that nice rich texture you get from an espresso roast.
Like most blends this one changes seasonally so the components won't always be the same but you can be confident that it will hit very similar tasting notes every time.
This particular iteration includes a Brazilian component named Sul de Minas. This is a partnership producer blend made exclusively for Square Mile. It comes from four small to medium-sized farms, Rosa Branca, Fazenda Recanto, Sitio Barra, and Fazenda Barreiro. Sul de Minas provides Red Brick with a full, chocolatey base and a rich textured body.
Accompanying the chocolatey Brazilian lot is another producer blend combining coffee from farmers who live in the areas surrounding Pitalito in Huila, Colombia. Like most of Square Mile's Colombian community lots, this one is sourced by Caravela who do some incredible work on the ground to support the development of their growing partners and develop a sustainable supply chain.
This Colombian lot gives crisp red apple, and a lingering toffee finish.
Together the blend provides a deep chocolate base with bright popping acidity.
Red Brick is a favorite amongst our regulars. We can never stock enough of it.
