Square Mile have provided us with another exciting blend just in time for easter and this one is absolutely delicious!
The Easter Blend is designed as a sweet treat to enjoy alongside your mountain of Easter eggs by bringing together two syrupy sweet coffees from Colombia and Peru.
Peru is one of our favorite origins. Packed full of juicy berry notes and lingering caramelized sweetness. Coffees from this country are a sturdy base for blends and really highlight the best parts of South American coffee.
The second component is from Colombia where coffees can vary greatly in profile depending on their variety and sub-region. The three farmers whose coffee makes up San Sebastian come from La Plata and neighboring La Argentina in southern Huila. Here we get concentrated raisin, and green apple. This subtle fruitiness is complimented by a rich, caramel undertone.
"Espresso" roasts tend to show a little more body with a rounded off acidity - this one has some great texture and mouthfeel. Expect crisp acidity, clear red fruit and a notes of cocoa that hang around well after you've emptied the cup. If you drink your coffee with milk this one will be great for you too!!
