Sourced from smallholder farmers delivering to the Chelbesa washing station in Gedeb, this lot is grown at 2,000 meters where the Wolisho and Dega varieties thrive. The combination of altitude and local know-how makes Chelbesa one of Ethiopia’s most reliable and exciting producing sites.

Processing here follows traditional washed methods, with careful fermentation and washing that bring out clarity and structure in the cup. What you get is a profile that feels lively and transparent, true to its origin.

Look for floral aromatics, a lift of apricot and peach, and a finishing edge that recalls black tea. It’s layered, bright, and balanced—exactly what we love about coffees from this part of Gedeb.
