Loud, juicy apple notes with the classic kenyan sweetness that lasts long into the finish.

From Kirinyaga’s fertile slopes, Kamwangi AA shows why Kenya remains a benchmark for clarity and vibrancy in the cup. Produced by members of the Ngariama Farmer’s Cooperative, this lot comes from smallholders farming on the volcanic foothills of Mount Kenya, each typically tending a modest number of trees.

At the Kamwangi washing station, cherries are hand-sorted before pulping, separated by density, and fermented under shade for up to 36 hours. They’re then washed in channels, soaked overnight in clean water, and dried slowly on raised beds. That level of care delivers the sweet, transparent profile Kamwangi is known for.

In the cup, expect juicy acidity with notes of citrus and cherry, underpinned by a clean black tea finish. It’s bright, structured, and a standout from Kirinyaga.
