Easily one of our favorite washing stations in Ethiopia. Clean fruits, crisp acidity and intoxicating florals.

/

From the highlands of Yirgacheffe, Halo Beriti is a washed Ethiopian that encapsulates all too well the region’s reputation for clarity and floral-driven character. It’s a coffee that comes on light across the palate while carrying depth in its aromatics.

Produced by local smallholders and processed at the Halo Beriti washing station, the lot brings together cherries grown at 2,100–2,300 meters. The combination of altitude and careful washing creates a profile that is both clarified and expressive, true to the legacy it’s widely celebrated for.

In the cup, expect a tea-like structure layered with fresh stone fruit and peach nectar. Elderflower adds a floral lift, while a line of citric acidity keeps the cup bright and refreshing all the way through.
