We've never had a bean from The Barn we didn't love, but this pink bourbon carries with it an elegance not always found in microlots.
El Faldon lies outside the town of San Agustín, inside Colombia's Huila region. The farm is owned and led by Luis and his brother, who have built a reputation for themselves across Colombia over the years, securing multiple Cup of Excellence awards for their coffees.
This is a classic way of producing washed coffee in Huila, with the short fermentations helping boost intensity and vibrancy. In the cup we get a lot of creamy, mouth-filling texture, bright citric acidity and juicy ripe red fruit.
