A young but experienced producer. Notes of maple, roasted almond and apple.
Sitio Canaã is located right on the mountain ranges of Diamatina Chapada in Bahia, Brazil. Over this side of the country we tend to see coffees with cleaner, crisper fruit undertones and more delicate sugars like maple syrup and honey.
Kleumon Silva Moreira owns and manages this farm. He's only 28 years old but has been working alongside Antônio Rigno for over a decade. Antônio is widely regarded as the best producer in the region and is famous for his commitment to quality, and has many accolades for his coffees in the Cup of Excellence competition and other quality awards over the years
Market Lane's lighter roast style has preserved the clarity of this coffee extremely well. We're getting soft, maple-like sweetness with subtle notes of apple and plenty of roasted almond on the finish.
