Selva Andina EspressoRegular price $20.00
A crowd pleaser espresso with notes of molasses, plum and raisin.
Peruvian coffees seem to get better every year. It's clear that cooperatives like Selva Andina are continuing to show improved results across Peru and we're lapping it up.
Selva Andina is responsible for 618 members that grow coffee in the Cajamarca and Amazonas regions of Peru. This particular lot is from a small selection of 14 producers and is 100% organic so it's free from any pesticides. Growing organic and still producing a cup quality like this is very, very hard so we consider ourselves lucky to get our hands on it.
The coffee itself is what we would call a "crowd pleaser". It's a little nutty, there's a lot of depth to it and it has an amazingly developed sweetness almost like molasses. The fruit quality is exactly what you would expect from Peru with notes of dried berries and raisin.
Get in quick before all of those delicious Peruvian coffees are gone for another year!
