Ichamama AARegular price $24.00
A sweet, juicy Kenyan with notes of cherry, blackcurrant and eucalyptus.
Luna's Kenyans are back with the first drop of the Jukebox Series.
Ichamama AA is a washing station located in the Nyeri region of Kenya. This lot is predominantly an SL28 variety and the producers who contribute to it are all part of the Othaya cooperative.
There's some relatively long fermentation periods on this one but it sees a lot of water throughout the whole process so expect this to be big and sweet but very clean.
Nyeri is known for juicy coffees with mouthwatering acidity and that classic "Kenyan" profile of blackcurrant and ripe tomato (yes, an odd flavor but also kind of great). Expect notes of bing cherry, blackcurrant and eucalyptus-like botanicals.
