Gatagua ABRegular price $23.00
Another juicy Kenyan with notes of blackberry, dark cherries and blackcurrant.
Kenyan coffees are the best and this one comes from a region that we see a little less frequently than others - the Murang’a county.
Located south of Nyeri county, Murang’a backs onto the temperate slopes of the Aberdare Mountain range and is home to the Gatagua Farmers' Cooperative Society who's members are responsible for contributing to this lot.
Made up completely of SL28 and SL34 varieties, this lot is screen sorted to an AB size. AB's usually give us acidity with a little less "zip" than an AA or PB. You can expected them to have dried fruit qualities over fresh fruit.
Here we are getting intense blackberry, dark cherries and your typical Kenyan juicy blackcurrant. Perfect for Aeropress and any type of pourover.
