Smooth, fall inspired coffees are here. Brown sugar, baking spice and honey!
Balanced and smooth coffees like this one are an absolute delight to brew this time of year. As the weather cools down we always look to Latin American coffees to provide us with sweet and chocolatey profiles to warm us up.
Named after a small town in the Municipality of Jinotega, Datanlí is a combined lot from 5 farmers: Marvin, Juan, Jhon, Rosa and Domingo. It's a blend of Catuaí, Bourbon and Caturra, all of which are varieties known for their inherent sweetness.
Jinotega is a region that generally produces larger commercial grade lots and rarely do we see more considered, specialty grades such as this one. It's clean and tea-like but offers a creamy texture with lingering brown sugar notes. A subtle backbone of baking spice makes this the perfect coffee to wake up with.
